Reed are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller based in Bournemouth.
Working for a leading SME based near Boscombe, you will be joining an existing credit control team, with full training and support given.

Temp to Perm opportunity
£14.00 per hour (£26,000 per annum).

The Role:
• Process and allocate receipts for Bacs & Cheques
• Take payments over the phone & process card payments on the PDQ machine and on the in-house system (shortly we will be switching to on-line payments)
• Reconcile unallocated cash
• Credit check new applications & requests for credit limit increases using Experian
• Open new accounts
• Chase overdue accounts by telephone/email (Currently approx 500 per month per person)
• Answer incoming calls from Branches & Customers
• Update and maintain notes on the system when a customer or branch calls
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
• Ensure debts are paid in-line with the credit control collection timetable
• Monitor Credit Control mailbox
• Change addresses, telephone & and account settings when required
• Liaise with all branches/branch managers to resolve disputes
About you:
• Must have experience in Credit Control
• Be methodical, have good attention to detail and able to multi task
• Must have good knowledge of Excel & Word
• Have some knowledge of how legal collections and processes work
• Be able to work within a team and on their own initiative
