Job Description:
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 1 (C&E) Shunter in the Newcastle Area.
Hours: 02:00am till 10:30am
Monday to Friday
Pay Rates:
*£15.28ph raising to £19.08 per hour PAYE
Location: Newcastle, NE11
The role:
·Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.
·Moving Trailers and Trucks around the yard
·Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
·Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams
Requirements:
·Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
·Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
· 1 Years experience
·No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
·Full understanding of WTD legislation.
·Excellent communication skills.
·A safety-first mindset
