Job Description:
HGV Class 2 Driver - Southampton - £16.50ph (Umbrella) Wild Recruitment is hiring experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a leading distribution company based in Southampton. This is a temporary ongoing role, working Monday to Friday, with immediate starts available.
Job Details: * Position: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
* Location: Southampton
* Pay: £16.50 per hour (Umbrella)
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts
* Type: Temporary ongoing
Key Responsibilities: * Deliver palletised food items across the South of England
* Load and unload goods safely at each delivery point
* Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness
* Ensure timely and secure delivery of all consignments
Requirements: * Valid Class 2 HGV licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card
* Minimum 6 months’ experience driving Class 2 vehicles
* Experience with pallet deliveries, curtain side trucks, and tail lifts
* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
* Commitment to excellent customer service
