Job Description:
Process Engineer
*Annual Salary: £31,000 + Bonus
*Location: Mid Devon
*Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our client, a leading manufacturing business. This role involves monitoring and controlling the performance of processes across the workshop, advising on technical matters, and overseeing the development stages of various products and projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the high-quality standards of all products.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Enforce adherence to systems and procedures within your control.
*Participate in the writing and updating of process procedures to ensure all instructions are fully documented.
*Investigate causes of non-conformance, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and documented.
*Undertake trials, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
*Consult with internal and external experts as necessary.
*Ensure tasks are completed to required deadlines and comply with all relevant technical and administrative regulations.
*Manage documentation control systems and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong technical knowledge applicable to manufacturing and machinery.
*Excellent communication skills – you’ll be delivering technical information to diverse audiences.
*A good problem solver.
*Strong interpersonal and data analysis skills.
