Description
*Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts.
*Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Contribute to financial reporting and variance analysis.
*Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
*Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital requirements.
*Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and statutory accounts.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
Profile
A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:
*Part qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial principles.
*Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
*Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
*Experience within finance of projects is advantageous.
*Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
*Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
