Van Driver (Temporary) –(Collections) – Burgess Hill
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join a busy delivery and collections operation based in Burgess Hill . This is a temporary role running up until Christmas, offering a great opportunity for drivers with previous multi-drop experience to earn competitive pay while supporting a fast-paced and dynamic team.
Location: Burgess Hill
Rate: £13 per hour
Hours: 9:30am – 5:30pm
Contract: Temporary, until Christmas
Role Overview:
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods to a range of customers in the local area. You will be expected to manage multiple drops per day, maintaining excellent customer service at all times, and ensuring that goods are delivered in good condition.
Key Responsibilities:
*Undertake daily deliveries and collections efficiently and safely
*Follow all company procedures and health & safety guidelines
*Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
*Ensure vehicle is kept clean and maintained to company standards
*Represent the company professionally to customers at all times
Requirements:
*Valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
*Previous experience in multi-drop driving or delivery work is essential
*Experience with both deliveries and collections
*Knowledge of the local and surrounding areas
*Punctual, reliable, and customer-focused
*Ability to work full-time hours through the Christmas period
