This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation that prides itself on being a market leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continual analysis of the performance of the business, developing reporting methods, and highlighting areas for improvement.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing, dynamic finance team. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to take a key role in managing accounting and tax, supporting managers with budgets, and managing spending. You will assist the Financial Controller to help identify cost-saving opportunities and make financial information clear and easy to understand for teams across the business.
Other Senior Accountant duties & responsibilities will include:
*Lead technical accounting and tax matters, ensuring compliance and supporting audits, VAT, and statutory reporting
*Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, helping managers understand variances and trends
*Recommend system improvements, maintain cost-saving initiatives, and support long-range planning and special projects
*Oversee receivables, payables, treasury functions, and compliance, acting as a backup to the Financial Controller
*Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a focus on quality

*A relevant accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
*Experience with Statutory Accounts and Audit
