Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a leading Doncaster-based business to recruit an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract, initially office based but hybrid working available after initial training period.
Key Responsibilities: *Deliver a high-quality, accurate, and timely end-to-end payroll service to the business
*Process and review weekly and monthly payroll activities, including statutory payments/deductions
*Ensure payroll transactions comply with current legislation and company policy
*Provide specialist advice and guidance on all aspects of Payroll and PAYE
*Administer pension schemes, including auto-enrolment compliance and provider reporting
*Manage employee benefits administration (PMI, Life Assurance, SAYE, etc.)
*Support the annual pay review, bonus processes, and P11D reporting
*Resolve queries relating to time and attendance data
*Maintain and update payroll process documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
*Continuously identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems
Candidate Requirements: *Relevant payroll qualification (CIPP preferred) or extensive proven experience
*Expert knowledge of UK payroll and pensions legislation, with a strong focus on governance and compliance
*Professional payroll systems experience
*Strong IT and analytical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
*Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure
