My client is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Technician. The role offers a 37 hr working week with overtime paid for any additional hours worked, 5 weeks holiday, life insurance and employee funded private healthcare.
The role is Monday - Thursday 8.30-16:30 and Friday 8.30-4pm.
Due to the location, a driving license and your own transport will be required.
Duties for the senior electrical technician include:
*Assemble electronic/electrical subassemblies from schematic diagrams, drawings or verbal instructions and following works order instructions to ISO9001 standards.
*Wire and solder wiring harness and cable assemblies, PC boards, SMT, transformer assemblies, control consoles, connectors, etc.
*Carry out heavy-duty cable wiring, deck cable assembly, and control system outfitting.
*Carry out fault finding and repairs to PCB component level.
*Perform troubleshooting and testing of assemblies & computer controlled operations.
*Ensure assembly/sub assembly build times and department efficiency targets are met for major project schedule into integration dates and tooling/spares WO completion dates.
Essential competencies for the senior electrical technician include knowledge of:
*Low voltage AC/DC panel wiring/looming
*High voltage installations
*Control/Data systems
*Fibre Optic handling/termination
