Warehouse Operative Wanted!
Salary: £25,000pa (Permanent contract)
Working days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm or 9am – 5.30pm (your preference)
Location: Leatherhead
Warehouse Operative
We are looking for a new warehouse operative to join our fast-paced warehouse team.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Operations & Logistics manager and be responsible for the daily operations of order fulfilment including picking, packing, receiving goods, quality/stock control, personalisation, basic administration, and workload management.
You will deliver high levels of productivity through effective engagement using initiative and responding to queries and requests from departments throughout the company.
About You:
• Team Player - Work as part of a team and individually to deliver an excellent service to complete order fulfilment. Seek to continuously improve standards and expectations, building key relationships through collaboration with other team members and managers, using effective communication across all levels.
• Work to a high standard - Ensure productivity consistently meets required expectations with a high level of attention to detail. Become familiar with stock across all departments and develop product knowledge. Ensure quality control checks are carried out prior to order fulfilment by inspecting products for accuracy on quantity and quality
• Computer skills - Be computer literate with a high level of accuracy
• Be Responsible -Take individual responsibility for your workspace and any designated area as directed by your manager. Comply with all health and safety regulations and compliance as required
The Role:
• Picking and packing orders.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Receiving goods inwards and allocating to appropriate storage areas.
• Keeping an accurate record of stock movements using our computer systems.
• Liaising with colleagues across departments via phone and email.
• Completing periodic stock counts.
• Cleaning and maintaining your work area, as well as other areas of the warehouse you have operated in.
