Location: Lambeth (near Streatham Common Station)

Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay: £85-£105 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role A supportive and high-achieving primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 6 team from January 5th. This position is ideal for a BA graduate, especially those with a background in English or Mathematics, who are passionate about supporting pupil progress and gaining valuable experience in a school setting.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to provide academic and pastoral support. You’ll assist with small group work, one-to-one interventions, and lesson preparation, helping pupils achieve their best in the lead-up to SATs. The Ideal Candidate The successful Teaching Assistant will:
* Hold a BA degree (English or Maths preferred)

* Have previous classroom experience or experience working with children

* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Be proactive, patient, and confident supporting upper KS2 learners

* Have a genuine passion for education and child development
