Job Description:
Finance Administrator
Location: Gainsborough | Hours: Full-time | Contract: Permanent
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join a growing team in Gainsborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in transactional finance who is keen to further develop their skills by providing support across payroll and general finance administration. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations, including processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with payroll administration.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing the purchase ledger - processing supplier invoices and payments
* Managing the sales ledger -raising invoices and chasing payments
* Performing bank reconciliations accurately and on time
* Assisting with payroll administration, including timesheet and leave data input
* Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
* Supporting month-end reporting and ad hoc finance tasks
* Helping to improve and streamline finance processes
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a finance/administrative role
* Exposure to payroll administration is desirable
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident with numbers and IT systems
