Sales Ledger / Accounts Assistant
Location: Ipswich (IP3 area)
Contract Type: Temporary (Immediate Start)
Hours: Part-time or Full-time
Work Arrangement: Office-based
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger / Accounts Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounts experience who can hit the ground running and support the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintain and update the sales ledger accurately.
*Process invoices and credit notes.
*Allocate payments and reconcile customer accounts.
*Assist with credit control and query resolution.
*Support the wider accounts team with ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements
*Previous experience working in a sales ledger role.
*Background in an accounts department is essential.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Good communication and organisational skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
