People Advisor – Charity Sector

You will be instrumental in maintaining a positive workplace culture and providing professional HR advice across the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Act as the first point of contact for Employee Relations (ER) issues, including disciplinary, grievance, sickness, and absence management.
*Coach and guide managers through HR processes, ensuring compliance with best practices.
*Manage ER casework effectively, balancing empathy with organisational needs.
*Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection.
*Collaborate with the wider People Team on projects that enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.
*Support recruitment and onboarding processes when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in Employee Relations and handling complex casework.
*Strong knowledge of HR policies and employment law.
*Excellent communication and influencing skills.
*CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is desirable.
*Experience in the charity or healthcare sector is advantageous.
