Our client is seeking a Controls Accountant to strengthen its internal control framework and drive continuous business improvement. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in audit, finance, or risk who enjoy problem-solving, process optimisation, and collaborating across teams to enhance governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend practical enhancements
*Support the implementation of new or updated controls across finance and operations
*Perform control testing and maintain accurate records of outcomes
*Collaborate with finance, audit, and operational teams
*Contribute to strengthening governance, compliance, and financial integrity across the organisation
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
About You
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Strong background in audit, internal controls, or risk management
*Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
