The Role
You’ll support the finance team in ensuring accurate and timely payments while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across accounts payable operations. This role will be 4 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities
*Process 500+ invoices weekly (PO and non-PO), maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
*Ensure compliance with internal controls and proper coding across multiple legal entities and business units.
*Perform PO matching and validation before posting.
*Resolve discrepancies in pricing, quantities, or deliveries by liaising with procurement, vendors, and approvers.
*Support vendor account management and timely payment processing.
*Conduct supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding balances.
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain smooth AP operations.
*Use Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to analyse data and support reporting.
*Assist with process improvement, automation, and documentation initiatives.
Requirements
*Proven experience in Accounts Payable within a medium to large multi-site organisation (real estate sector preferred).
*Understanding of P2P workflows and 3-way matching.
*Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite; SAP Business ByDesign and Salesforce desirable).
*Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Filters, Conditional Formatting).
*Solid reconciliation and query resolution abilities.
*Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
