What You’ll Be Doing
As a trusted advisor to operational leaders, you’ll be at the heart of driving people strategy across a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You’ll:
*Partner with senior leaders to deliver forward-thinking HR solutions that support service delivery and organisational resilience.
*Lead on complex employee relations matters with confidence, clarity, and compassion.
*Steer change programmes including restructures, TUPE, and cultural transformation.
*Champion workforce planning, succession, and talent development.
*Promote wellbeing, inclusion, and engagement across diverse teams.
*Use data and insight to inform decisions and improve performance.
*Collaborate across HR functions to ensure seamless service and compliance.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
*Proven experience as an HRBP or Senior HR Advisor in a complex, unionised setting.
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and public sector HR practices.
*Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
*CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
*A calm, solutions-focused approach in high-pressure environments.
Desirable:
*Experience in emergency services, NHS, local authority or similar.
*Exposure to organisational design, TUPE, and change management.
*Coaching or mediation qualifications.
