We are working with a fantastic primary school in Burnley that is looking for a Teaching Assistant with TEFL or ESOL training (or similar experience) to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves making a difference and can bring creativity and patience to language learning.
What You’ll Be Doing *Supporting pupils who speak English as an additional language to develop confidence and fluency.
*Working closely with teachers to adapt resources and ensure inclusive learning.
*Providing small group and one-to-one support tailored to individual needs.
*Encouraging progress in both language and wider curriculum areas.
What We’re Looking For *TEFL, ESOL or similar qualification, or proven experience teaching English as a foreign language.
*A positive, proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
*Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
*Flexibility and enthusiasm for supporting learning across the school.
