Job Description:
Data Analyst - insurance portfolio analysis
£350-450(DOE)/day overall assignment rate to umbrella
3-month contract
London - initially on-site 4x a week with flexibility after the first month
Working with a leading financial services client who are looking for a Data Anayst contractor to focus on reviewing and analysing their insurance portfolio. This role will involve manual data extraction and aggregation from multiple sources to create a consolidated dataset that supports tradability of portfolios.
Data Analyst, key skills:
*Advanced Excel skills (data modelling, Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas)
*Proven experience in manual data extraction and data cleansing from unstructured sources
*Ability to create and maintain clear, auditable data profiles and summaries
*Experience analysing insurance portfolio data, ideally within property or casualty lines
*Understanding of layered insurance programs, including rate, SIR, and attachment point structures (highly desirable)
*Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
*High attention to detail and accuracy in handling large datasets
