Reed Accountancy are currently seeking a temporary Credit Control Administrator to join the finance team of an established client in the Crawley area on an ongoing part-time basis (ideally 20 hours over 5 mornings). The primary focus of this role will be on cash allocation, ensuring that incoming payments are accurately matched to customer accounts and invoices.
Key Responsibilities
*Daily booking of incoming payments on to customer account/respective invoice(s) in multi-currencies.
*Maintaining/creating new customers.
*Monitoring of Finance Inbox for AR related emails.
*Weekly/Monthly handling of data to create reports.
*Cover in absence of Internal Credit Control Manager.
*Releasing order off hold subject to Customer account status.
*Preparation/sending of month end customer statements.
*Reconciling customer accounts.
*Logging queries on central database for investigation.
*Pulling of credit reports as part of credit review.
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or cash allocation.
*Experience working with multi currencies
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
*Experience working with Dynamic D365 is highly desirable.
