Job Description:
Our client, Derbyshire County Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Children in Care team.
The role will involve the following:
*You’ll be part of a supportive, passionate team working to ensure children in care are safe, heard, and thriving.
*You’ll manage a manageable caseload, build strong relationships with children and carers, and contribute to care planning that makes a real difference.

Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
*Must have significant experience in children’s social care
*Experience working with looked-after children
*Strong assessment, planning, and report-writing skills
*Commitment to trauma-informed and relationship-based practice
*Ability to work flexibly and independently within a team
*Car driver
