Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor
Location: West Yorkshire – home and field based
Salary: £28,000 + expenses paid from home + fantastic benefits package!
Type: Full Time, Permanent

Duties:
*Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2, primarily to groups of learners, with 1:1 sessions delivered as required.
*Deliver IAG and potentially Employability skills to learners as required.
*Develop tailored training / workshops and adopt a more personalised approach for individuals requiring more support.
*Identify learner’s strengths and weaknesses through initial assessment diagnostics and support them accordingly.
*Identify any barriers to learning and plan effective training based on individual learner needs.
*Provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
*Ensure each learner’s progression is recorded efficiently.
Essential Criteria:
*Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills through to Level 2.
*Hold, or be willing to work towards, a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. AET/PTLLS).
*Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above, or Functional Skills equivalents.
*Happy to deliver face-to-face sessions to learners.
*Must be IT literate.
*Enthusiastic individual who is able to make a real impact and make learning exciting
*Driving licence and use of a vehicle.
*Must be flexible with travel.
