HR & Payroll Officer
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: £26,000 - £27000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, 6 month contract
Reed are exclusively working with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced HR & Payroll Officer.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a dynamic HR and Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and supporting pension administration, while contributing to the smooth operation of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare and process payroll authorisation forms and monthly claim spreadsheets.
*Input pay rates, employment records, and payroll details for starters, leavers, and changes.
*Check payslips, sick pay calculations, and assist with payroll queries..
*Prepare monthly and annual pension returns and maintain accurate pension records.
*Support HR operations including contracts, staff deployment spreadsheets, and absence reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in payroll and HR administration.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines.
*Familiarity with HR and payroll systems is desirable.
