We’re Hiring: Legal Counsel | Remote (with occasional travel)
Job Summary
We’re working exclusively with a leading international organisation to recruit a Legal Counsel. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative legal team that plays a key role in enabling informed decision-making and managing legal risk across the business.
About The Role
As Legal Counsel, you’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing proactive and strategic legal advice across a broad range of areas. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business and contribute to both business-as-usual and project-based legal matters.
Do you have experience in the following?
*In-House legal experience within a regulated financial services organisation, or equivalent experience in a large commercial law firm.
*Experience in Commercial/FS Contracts, Litigation Management/Disputes, Complaints, Compliance, Employment, Competition, IP and Brand Law.
*Previous experience of managing external law firms.
*Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 2 years relevant post-qualification experience.
*Experience of working in an International Investment organisation or similar financial services organisation.
*Experience of working with legal matters in multiple jurisdictions.
*Good working knowledge of financial products and industry and regulatory practice.
*Works collaboratively (rather than competitively) with others to achieve a common goal.
*Builds effective relationships with people at all levels. Able to confidently and effectively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
*Open to manage and training juniors within the legal team.
