You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of audits for owner-managed businesses and SMEs across a variety of sectors, leading assignments from planning through to completion. The role involves overseeing junior team members, ensuring high-quality audit delivery, and developing strong client relationships within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Description
*Lead audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients.
*Prepare audit files, review financial statements, and ensure compliance with audit standards.
*Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members throughout audit engagements.
*Liaise directly with clients to build strong relationships and address technical queries.
*Identify potential risk areas and provide practical recommendations for improvement.
*Work closely with partners and managers to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services.
Profile
*ACA / ACCA qualified with 3+ years post-qualification experience
*Proven experience managing people and leading audits
*Strong technical knowledge of audit and assurance
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills
*Sociable, proactive, and progressive in mindset
*Team-oriented with a commitment to client service
Job Offer
*Salary: £38,000-£44,000 DOE
*Hybrid working: 2 days per week from home
