Banking Lawyer (6+ years’)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Banking & Finance Lawyer to join a top-ranked team in Edinburgh recognised for advising on market-leading and innovative financing deals. Applications are welcomed from candidates from 6+ years’ PQE through to legal director level.
You will advise lender, borrower and sponsor clients on a broad range of transactional and advisory work, including real estate finance, leveraged finance and corporate funding. Working alongside respected specialists, you’ll manage complex transactions, supervise junior colleagues and play a key role in business development and client relationship growth.
What You’ll Do:
*Draft and negotiate loan, security and ancillary documentation
*Provide strategic legal advice across diverse finance transactions
*Manage projects and collaborate with other practice areas on cross-disciplinary matters
*Mentor and supervise junior team members
*Contribute to business development initiatives and client engagement
About You:
*Qualified solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE in banking or finance law
*Strong technical drafting and communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
*Collaborative team player with a proactive, client-focused approach
*Demonstrates leadership, adaptability and commitment to professional growth
