Key Responsibilities:
*Instructing overseas associates for patent and design filings and responses
*Preparing cost estimates for clients
*Reporting filing, prosecution, and grant communications to clients, and providing draft reporting for fee earner approval
*Utilising IP management systems such as Inprotech for efficient workflow
*Collaborating with clients, attorneys, and administrators to manage client portfolios
*Ensuring legal requirements are met for patent filings, including obtaining legal documents
*Handling administrative tasks such as diary management, invoicing, and document proofing
Candidate Requirements:
*A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Patent Paralegal/similar position
*A CIPA qualification
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
*Docketing and Trade Mark Prosecution experience would also be advantageous
*Proactive team player with the capacity to work autonomously when necessary
*Excellent written and oral communication skills, including client-facing interactions
*Familiarity with electronic records and billing systems is a plus
*A readiness to work additional hours occasionally to meet deadlines
