I have partnered with a Legal Firm based in Central London who are looking for a Senior Payroll Advisor.
This role involves processing payroll instructions, pension reconciliation, handling tax codes, and responding to payroll-related queries. The successful candidate will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Process payroll instructions accurately and timely.
*Conduct pension reconciliations and handle adjustments in tax codes.
*Respond to payroll-related queries from employees, ensuring high standards of customer service.
*Prepare for and assist in payroll audits, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong experience with the Access payroll system is essential.
*Proven track record in handling payroll audits and understanding audit processes.
*Excellent attention to detail and a strong orientation towards customer service.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Contract Terms and Benefits:
*Initial three-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension to a 12-month fixed-term contract based on performance.
