Role Summary:
As a Senior IFA Administrator, you’ll provide dedicated technical and administrative support to the firm’s Financial Adviser, managing research, preparation, and implementation of client recommendations across pensions, investments, and protection. You’ll play a vital role in portfolio construction and the Investment Committee while enjoying the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and advisory exposure under experienced mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
*Technical Support: Carry out investment and pension calculations, prepare research and comparisons for analysis
*Client Preparation: Build detailed Cashflow Modelling scenarios and present client-ready documentation
*Compliance & Quality: Ensure all FCA and internal standards are met across all work streams
*Portfolio Management: Process fund switches, withdrawals, and rebalances accurately
*Client Reporting: Prepare review packs, valuations, and suitability letters in line with policy
*Collaboration: Work closely with the Adviser, Office Manager, and wider team to ensure seamless client service
*Mentoring: Support and train administrative colleagues to enhance team capability
Requirements:
*Strong background within an IFA or Financial Planning environment
*In-depth understanding of pensions, investments, and protection
*Confident using Platforms and Provider portals
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*High attention to detail with strong organisational ability
*Experience using Intelligent Office or CashCalc advantageous
*Studying toward Level 4 Diploma preferred but not essential
*A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to work in-office most days
