Job Opportunity: Functional Skills Maths Teacher
Location: Newcastle College
Contract: Permanent (via The Supply Register)
Are you passionate about making maths engaging and accessible for young people? Newcastle College, in partnership with The Supply Register, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Functional Skills Maths Teacher to inspire learners aged 16–19.
What you’ll be doing: * Delivering planned and engaging maths lessons to post-16 learners (16–19 years old).
* Supporting learners to achieve their potential in Functional Skills maths.
* Marking and providing constructive feedback on learner work.
* Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment.
? What we’re looking for: * Experience teaching maths in schools, FE, or training providers.
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
* A strong commitment to learner success and progress.
