Geotechnical Driller

A respected UK consultancy with a long track record in civil, structural, and environmental engineering, is expanding their ground investigation team and looking for an experienced Geotechnical Driller.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that values quality, safety, and teamwork. You’ll be part of a professional, friendly team delivering exciting geotechnical and environmental projects across the UK. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating specialist drilling equipment, and taking pride in doing things right - this role is for you!
What the Geotechnical Driller will do: * Operate and maintain drilling and sampling rigs, including window sampling and dynamic probing equipment.
* Collect accurate soil and groundwater samples in accordance with industry standards.
* Record site data, sample depths, and ground conditions clearly and precisely.
* Carry out daily safety checks and basic maintenance on rigs.
* Work closely with technical staff to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
* Be willing to travel and stay away from home when required (expenses paid).
What you’ll need to be considered for the Geotechnical Driller role: * Proven track record in geotechnical or environmental drilling.
* CSCS card (essential).
* NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling or equivalent (preferred).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Commitment to safe working and flexibility to work across multiple sites.
