Job Description:
Senior/Lettings Negotiator
Location: Hove
Salary: £25k - £28k DOE +OTE
Hours: Mon – Fri 08.45 – 18.00 and 1 in 3 Sat 10.00am – 15.00pm
Full UK driving licence required (own transport preferred but not essential)
I have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior/Lettings Negotiator to join a highly reputable independent estate agent based in the heart of Hove. You will already have a proven background within lettings, have great negotiation and sales skills with the ability to build strong business relationships.
Responsibilities:
*Conduct professional market appraisals, providing accurate valuations and converting them into new instructions.
*Manage your daily diary efficiently, ensuring all appointments and follow-ups are actioned.
*Book and conduct viewings, providing an excellent customer experience throughout the process.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and applicants, offering a professional and proactive service.
*Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to secure successful lets.
*Proactively generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and local marketing.
*Manage and maintain your applicant database, ensuring all enquiries are followed up and matched to suitable properties.
*Ensure all activities adhere to current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Proven background in Lettings Negotiation with experience in valuations and new instructions.
*Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proactive and target-driven attitude.
*Strong organisational skills, including diary and applicant management.
*Confident in handling multiple priorities in a busy, customer-focused environment.
*Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance.
*Full UK driving licence (own car preferred but not essential).
