We are seeking an experienced AP Manager to oversee and manage accounts payable processes within the accounting and finance department for an exciting construction business. Description
*Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
*Oversee vendor relationships and address any queries or discrepancies effectively.
*Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
*Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports for senior management.
*Supervise and support the accounts payable team to achieve departmental goals.
*Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and resolve issues.
*Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
*Contribute to the implementation of new systems or process improvements in the accounting and finance department.
Profile
A successful AP Manager should have:
*Strong experience in managing accounts payable processes.
*Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics D365 is highly desirable.
*Proven knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
*Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
*Proficiency in relevant accounting software and systems.
*Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
