Key Stage 1 (KS1) SEND Class Teacher
*Annual Salary: M1 to M6 - £32916 to £45350
*Location: Bexhill, East Sussex
*Job Type: Part-time, Monday, Tuesday and Friday
This specialist speech, language and communication difficulties and associated is seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. This role involves working within a small class team, providing personalised support to pupils/students at our residential special school and college. We cater to pupils/students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties, and other associated SEND.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide tailored support to pupils/students, ensuring their individual needs are met in a nurturing and supportive manner.
*Assist in the delivery of educational programs and activities designed to facilitate the learning and development of pupils/students with special educational needs.
*Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and effective learning environment.
*Monitor and support the progress of pupils/students, adapting techniques as needed to suit individual learning styles and requirements.
*Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting pupils/students with SEND.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Positive, kind, and caring attitude with a genuine interest in the development of pupils/students with special educational needs.
*Basic knowledge of the support needs of pupils with SEND.
*Commitment to providing outstanding support and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with pupils, staff, and parents.
*Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development to enhance personal skills and the educational experience of the pupils/students.
