Employability Coordinator*Contract Type: Fixed-term (6 months)
*Hours: 0.8 FTE (Part-time Flexible)
*Location: Kingston
*Salary: £29,593 - £31,741 per annum
We are seeking an Employability Coordinator to join our dynamic team at a Further Education college in Kingston. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to significantly impact student success by supporting approximately 400 students across key curriculum areas such as IT & Business and Engineering Trades.
Day-to-day of the role:*Support students in IT & Business or Engineering Trades, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and confidence to progress into work or further study.
*Drive employability initiatives by collaborating with academic teams and external partners.
*Organise and deliver engaging workshops and career-focused activities that enhance students’ employability prospects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:*Proven experience in employability or student support within a Further Education setting.
*Strong ability to collaborate with academic staff and external partners.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*Passionate about helping students achieve their career goals.
