Client Accounting Team Leader
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
Location: Central London
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Hybrid 3 days in office
I have partnered with a large and established Property Management firm who are seeking a Client Accounting Team Leader to manage a Client Accountants team across a commercial portfolio. This role involves working closely with the Client Accounts Manager to set and achieve team objectives, ensuring excellent client service and efficient management of client accounts.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee the daily operations of the Client Accountants team, ensuring effective management and operation within the Commercial space.
*Collaborate with the Client Accounts Manager to set clear team objectives and deliverables, aligning with broader departmental goals.
*Engage in client meetings, visit key clients, and ensure all client reporting aligns with mandates, expectations, and statutory requirements.
*Lead the procurement and implementation of new Client Accounting systems and manage system project costs.
*Review and develop departmental procedures and reporting in line with RICS guidelines and best practices.
*Conduct regular performance reviews, set objectives for team members, and support their career development through training and mentoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Commercial Property Management experience and previous direct team management.
*Detailed knowledge of RICS Service Charges in Commercial Property, HMRC Land & Property VAT, CIS, and Non-Resident Landlord Scheme.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and promote a team culture reflective of company values.
*Solid relationship-building skills with experience in managing complex client relationships.
*Excellent organisational, time management, and analytical skills.
*Ability to independently make pragmatic decisions.
