Role Overview
You will join our KS1 team as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, supporting class teachers and working closely with children in Year 1 and Year 2. Your role will involve both whole-class support and targeted small-group or one-to-one interventions to help children make excellent progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons in KS1.
* Work individually or with small groups of children to reinforce learning and build confidence.
* Support positive behaviour and contribute to a positive classroom culture of respect and motivation.
* Monitor pupil progress, provide feedback, and alert the teacher to any concerns or opportunities.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Communicate effectively with staff, parents and carers as needed to support pupil development.
