Financial Planner Support Location: Bury St Edmunds – Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Progression: Full study support through a dedicated academy with funded CII qualifications up to Chartered level

We’re working with a respected wealth management firm based in Bury St Edmunds that’s looking for a Financial Planner Support professional to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills and progress your career, with a clear pathway through to Paraplanning and beyond – supported by fully funded CII qualifications up to Chartered level.
The RoleAs Financial Planner Support, you’ll provide essential administrative and technical assistance to Financial Planners and Directors, ensuring clients receive a high-quality service.
Your main responsibilities will include:
*Preparing and checking client review packs and reports
*Liaising with product providers and third parties
*Maintaining accurate and compliant client records
*Supporting Financial Planners in client meetings (2–3 times per year)
*Producing suitability letters and processing new business applications
*Assisting with research, due diligence and investment administration
*Supporting and developing junior team members where required
About YouYou’ll be organised, proactive, and eager to progress in your financial planning career.
You should have:
*Experience providing administrative support within financial services
*A good understanding of pensions, investments, and platforms
*Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
*Progress towards (or interest in) the CII Diploma in Financial Planning
