Senior Financial Planner Support Location: Bury St Edmunds - Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Salary: £33,000+ (DOE)
Progression: Full support through a dedicated academy with funded CII study up to Chartered level

We’re recruiting for a Senior Financial Planner Support professional to join a respected and growing financial planning business. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and people-focused environment where your development is actively supported through an in-house academy – offering a clear pathway to Paraplanning and beyond, with fully funded CII qualifications up to Chartered level.
The RoleYou’ll play a key part in ensuring clients receive a consistent, high-quality service by supporting Financial Planners and Directors in all aspects of client administration and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing and checking detailed client review packs and reports
*Liaising with providers and managing client correspondence
*Attending client meetings (1–2 per month) to support Financial Planners with technical inputs such as cashflow and CGT calculations
*Coaching and developing junior team members to maintain high service standards
*Contributing to process improvements and workflow efficiency
About YouYou’ll be confident, organised, and proactive, with:
*A Diploma qualification (or equivalent experience)
*A strong understanding of pensions, investments, and financial planning processes
*Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously
*Experience supporting Financial Planners or within a wealth management firm
