About the Role:

We’re partnering with one of the largest media companies in the entertainment industry to recruit an Accounts Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team supporting high-profile artist tours and live events.
Key Details:
*Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
*Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
*Holidays: 20 days + company closure for 2 weeks at Christmas
*Office: 5 days a week in their office
*Free Tickets to events
What You’ll Do:
*Verify Tour Settlements: Check settlements provided by venues, ensuring they align with agreed deals and calculations are accurate.
*Raise Sales Invoices: Prepare and issue invoices promptly for tour shows.
*Resolve Discrepancies: Liaise with venues to query and resolve any financial inconsistencies.
*Accounts Payable: Process contra invoices from venues and record them accurately in Finance Software.
What We’re Looking For:
*Background in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience).
*Knowledge of invoicing processes and financial reconciliation.
*Familiarity with VAT regulations.
*Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheets.
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
*Passion for the media and entertainment industry is a plus!
