Avencia have partnered with a leading global insurer to recruit a Claims Operations Technician for their London office.

Key responsibilities
*Validate and input data accurately into company systems to support precise claims reporting.
*Monitor claims portals and liaise with the Technical Claims team to ensure compliance.
*Manage claims notifications, acknowledgements and correspondence.
*Process payments, reserves and financial movements in line with standards and authorisations.
*Handle bordereaux for policies, premiums and claims per company guidelines.
*Manage captives, funded recoveries and apply HDI funding protocols.
*Perform reconciliations of claims, premiums and inter-company accounts.
*Oversee cashflow for large payments and escrow funds.
*Distribute monthly MI reports and resolve related queries.
*Support Credit Agreement settlements and ensure timely completion.
*Maintain process manuals, compliance documentation and governance records.
*Assist with SLA reviews, audits and improvement projects.
*Update intranet content and produce KPI/operations reports from internal systems.
Skills & experience
* Experience in a claims, operations or administration role within insurance.

* Bordereaux handling experience desirable.

* Strong understanding of insurance processes and terminology.

* High accuracy and attention to detail.

* Proficient in Excel and Word.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident liaising with underwriters and technical colleagues.

* Strong organisation and time management skills.

* Deadline-driven and able to perform under pressure.

* Solid systems knowledge and experience using data for evaluation.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Awareness of the financial impact of technical data processed.
