Management Accountant
Full time role which offers some WFH
Our client, a well-established business with a stellar reputation and ambitious growth plans, is looking to expand their team in Nottingham. With a turnover of around £40m, they are seeking an experienced Accountant to join them in a newly created role due to the expansion of their office.
In this varied and interesting position, you will report directly to the Head of Finance and engage in a range of responsibilities, including:
• Assisting with month-end processes and preparing financial statements.
• Supporting the creation of management reports and budgets.
• Communicating with key stakeholders to discuss performance and variances against budget.
• Performing various reconciliations, including balance sheets and intercompany accounts.
• Processing purchase invoices, creating sales invoices, and managing submissions on client portals.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, enjoy cross-departmental communication, and have solid knowledge of accruals, prepayments, and reconciliation processes. You will have strong Microsoft Excel experience and have previsouly used Sage. Knowledge of Joblogic (CAFM system, Service Stream would be advantageous).
This is a great role for a proactive, problem solving individual with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks. Knowledge of CIS/Construction industry would be desirable.
Qualifications would be highly advantageous in AAT/CIMA/ACCA or ACA.
