Management Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our client’s finance team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will provide accurate financial reporting, analysis, and support to ensure effective decision-making during a critical period for the business. This role is fully office based and can pay a pro-rata rate of £50,000-£60,000.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis.
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring timely and accurate outputs.
*Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions.
*Monitor cash flow, cost control, and profitability metrics.
*Support year-end processes and liaise with auditors as required.
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
*Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to improve financial performance.
Skills & Qualifications
*Essential: *Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
*Proven experience in management accounting within a fast-paced environment.
*Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
*Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

*Desirable: *Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
