Job Description:
We are a fast paced, busy agency with a fun ’can do’ attitude. Quite simply, we work with brands to get products visible which involves our people distributing, auditing, selling or sampling promotions all over the UK.
The Directors own 3 businesses and this role will involve working on the accounts of all 3 which makes it all the more interesting. Flexibility is a must as your day may change quickly depending on requirements. You will be working with our Finance Director to support them in their role.
The primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
*Ensuring bookkeeping is completed daily, keeping the accounts software (QuickBooks) up to date
*Reconciliation of Business Accounts & Credit Cards
*Process of monthly payroll – both employed (c.30) and self-employed (c.200) for all companies including sending payslips and remittances
*Process and checking of expenses
*Management of email inboxes
*Dealing with pay and expense queries
*Review of accounts and chasing overdue invoices, working alongside Client Managers
*Prepare accounting software for VAT Returns and Year End Accounts
*Responding to queries relating to employed & self-employed pay
*Raising PO’s
*Support with vehicles – insurance / hire vehicles / booking in services etc
*General admin to ensure the smooth running of the finance department for example arranging mileage checking by the admin team
*Management of floats
*Receiving, checking, logging and processing for payment all incoming invoices in a timely fashion
*Asset management
Ideal qualifications would be:
*Finance / Accounting Qualification preferred
*Strong excel skills desirable
*Previous experience working with Accounts and Payroll software
This position is based in our Crawley Head Office.
Working Hours are 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
