We are looking for compassionate and resilient SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teaching Assistants to join schools in Salford. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students who face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, helping them thrive in education and beyond.
Role Overview:
*Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
*Assist teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Implement strategies to manage behaviour and promote emotional wellbeing.
*Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (desirable but not essential).
*Patience, empathy, and resilience.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
