Job Title: Junior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Norwich
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 + Benefits
A leading and fast-growing acoustic consultancy is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding Norwich team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in environmental or building acoustics to advance their career while contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across the East of England and beyond.
In this role, you’ll be involved in delivering high-quality technical work, completing noise assessments, building strong client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the company’s acoustic services.

Key responsibilities: * Undertaking environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments
* Producing technical reports, noise impact assessments, and acoustic modelling outputs
* Liaising confidently with clients, planning teams, and local authorities
* Supporting senior staff on complex project work
* Assisting with bids, proposals, and wider business development activities
Required skills & experience: * Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, or similar
* Experience in environmental noise or building acoustics
* Strong technical writing and communication skills
* Knowledge of key acoustic standards (e.g., BS4142, BS8233)
* Full UK driving licence
