Job Description:
We are working with a Unitary Council who are currently recruiting for a Adult Social Care Lawyer on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £55-60 via an umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Assisting and advising a Trainee Lawyer by contributing to training and improvement initiatives
*Dealing with full range of local government ASL casework
*Providing prompt support to meet immediate risks and needs in crisis situations
*Dealing with a variety of complex cases
*Working under own initiative, with a high level of autonomy, accountability and expertise that recognises when line management support is appropriate
Experience required:
*Experience required in Adult Social Care
*Experience working with adults to identify and meet their needs
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
*Qualified Lawyer
*Over 5 years’ PQE
*Strong analytical and drafting skills

*Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
