Cleaning Operative
*Hourly Rate: £13.45
*Location: Reading, RG7
*Job Type: Temporary (18th December to 2nd January 2026)
*Working Hours: 3 PM to 9 PM
We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team on a temporary basis. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of communal areas and toilets. This position is ideal for someone with prior cleaning experience who is reliable and detail-oriented.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Clean and maintain communal areas including hallways, lobbies, and common rooms to ensure they are hygienic and tidy.
*Thoroughly clean toilets, replenishing toiletries and ensuring all sanitary fittings are in good condition.
*Use cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently while following health and safety guidelines.
*Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning.
*Ensure all tasks are completed within the allocated time frame.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a cleaning role.
*Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently.
*Good time management skills to complete tasks within the scheduled hours.
