Finance & Accounts Manager – Japanese-speaking
Euro London Appointments are delighted to partner with a global trading specialist with a worldwide customer base in their search for a Japanese-speaking Finance & Administration Manager. In this role, you will oversee the internal accounts function and support financial operations across multiple international offices.
This role will operate in 4 different currencies so experience of working across multiple currencies is essential.
This is the ideal position for someone looking to build on previous Accounts experience in a close-knit working environment with the use of your Japanese language skills.
Key responsibilities:
*Perform daily bookkeeping, including SAGE entries, invoice processing, expenses, VAT returns, and PAYE-related tasks.
*Collaborate with internal teams and external accountants on financial queries and reconciliations.
*Produce monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, cashflow).
*Prepare budgets and forecasts in partnership with the leadership team.
*Oversee month-end close, annual audits, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
*Analyse current processes and propose improvements.
*Support general finance and administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Fluency in Japanese and English is essential
*3+ years of previous experience in an Accountancy function for an SME
*Experience of working across multiple currencies is essential.
*Proficiency in accounting software
*Highly organised and skilled at prioritisation. Able to meet deadlines.
*A positive, can-do attitude who can work on their own initiative.
*Previous experience of managing others would be a benefit.
