Job Description:
Maintenance Engineer
Location: Based in Chessington Site with travel to Various other IP Sites
Salary: £46,000 per annum
Benefits: Company Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30
On-Call: Participation in an on-call rota

What You’ll Do
*Maintain and repair plant and machinery to ensure service delivery.
*Oversee work of contract and service engineers.
*Perform weekly tests on sterilisers/washers in line with CfPP standards.
*Report machine cycle changes to the National Maintenance Manager.
*Ensure machinery is serviced before quarterly/annual validation.
*Schedule yearly validation of plant equipment.
*Ensure compliance with Medical Devices Directive (MDD).
*Maintain validation/calibration certifications for MDD registration.
*Manage spare parts and tools inventory.
*Carry out scheduled PPM maintenance and inspections.
*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and staff development.
*Support the performance management system.
*Travel to other sites as required.
What We’re Looking For
*Apprentice-trained engineer or equivalent.
*Minimum 2 years’ engineering experience in Facilities or Manufacturing.
*Mechanical or electrical qualification.
*Full UK driving license (max 3 points).
